ADEX KOREA 2023
On that day, at Gyeonggi's Seongnam Seoul Airport, the Air Show of the Republic of Korea Air Force's special aerobatic team, the Black Eagles, and the flight of the US Air Force's strategic bomber B-52 took place.
After completing the flight at Seoul Airport, the B-52, capable of carrying nuclear weapons, landed at a domestic Air Force base. It's unusual for B-52 and B-2, which are nuclear-capable, to land at or publicly disclose their landings at foreign bases.
Previously, among the three types of US military strategic bombers - B-52, B-1B, and B-2 - the B-1B, often referred to as the "B-One," landed at the US Osan Air Base in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, in 2016.
Seoul ADEX 2023, which runs until the 17th, boasts the largest scale ever with participation from 35 countries and 550 companies.
